The mosaic background is a rhinestoner's dream — section after clearly defined section of geometric detail that fills with meditative rhythm and builds toward the floral ring with growing anticipation. The flowers themselves offer a welcome change of pace, their open petals and round centers rewarding careful, deliberate placement. And at the center, the dragonfly — the crown jewel of the entire composition — its four wings the moment this canvas transforms from beautiful to breathtaking.
