The world's smallest bird. The most dynamic canvas in the collection.

Noctis — the hummingbird immortalized in a single suspended moment, wings a blur of motion, rendered in breathtaking detail as a striking rhinestone canvas that crackles with energy from every angle. No other bird on earth moves the way a hummingbird moves — impossibly fast, impossibly precise, impossibly beautiful — and no other canvas in this collection captures that sense of living, vibrating energy quite like Noctis does.

The design centers on the hummingbird in mid-hover, wings extended in that signature rapid-motion arc that makes the species so visually electric. The bird's sleek, elongated body and needle-fine bill anchor the composition with elegant precision, while the sweeping wing curves radiate outward and fill the canvas with a sense of speed and lightness that feels almost kinetic. Every feather, every curve, every detail of the wing structure is rendered with remarkable clarity, creating beautifully defined crystal placement zones that guide your rhinestones through the design with a natural flow that mirrors the bird's own effortless grace.

Set against a deep black background, the bold white design delivers stunning contrast and exceptional depth — the delicate precision of the bill and body playing against the sweeping drama of the wings in a composition that is as satisfying to rhinestone as it is spectacular to display. This is a canvas that rewards patience with a finished piece that genuinely stops people mid-step to look closer.

The hummingbird is one of nature's most beloved symbols — representing joy, resilience, and the extraordinary things that can happen when something small moves with complete intention and focus. Noctis is a reminder that the most breathtaking things in life are often the ones moving too fast to catch — except in crystal.

A perfect piece for bird lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone who wants something dynamic, elegant, and genuinely alive on their wall.

FAQs

Your rhinestone canvas is a handcrafted art piece — treat it with a little love and it’ll keep sparkling for years.

To Clean:

  • Gently dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth
  • For fingerprints, lightly wipe with a barely-damp microfiber cloth
  • Let air dry completely

Please Avoid:

  • Harsh household cleaners
  • Alcohol, acetone, nail polish remover
  • Glass cleaner, disinfectant sprays, or chemical wipes
  • Scrubbing, soaking, or running water directly on the canvas

Placement Tips:

  • Display away from moisture, steam, and direct heat
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve clarity and shine
  • Handle by the edges when possible

Why this matters:

Harsh chemicals and solvents can dull the crystals, weaken the adhesive bond, and damage the printed canvas over time. Gentle care = long-lasting sparkle.

Since our canvases are made from a cotton/poly blend, we recommend using an adhesive that's clear in the bottle and suited to woven fabric surfaces, such as Liquid Fusion or Aleene's The Ultimate — both bond well to cotton/poly and cure clear and flexible. Avoid glues that appear white in the bottle, even if the label claims they dry clear — a white formula can obscure the canvas details underneath and make it harder to place your stones accurately. A clear-in-the-bottle glue lets you see exactly what you're doing as you work.

Absolutely — any part of your canvas can be painted. Just make sure to allow your paint to fully cure before applying rhinestones — not just surface-dry. Acrylic paint typically feels dry to the touch within 30 minutes to an hour, but full curing (where the paint has completely hardened and stopped offgassing) usually takes 24–72 hours, depending on paint thickness and humidity. For best adhesion, we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before placing your stones.

We recommend avoiding watercolor paint on any areas you plan to rhinestone. Watercolor stays water-reactive even after it dries, so it can reactivate and break down the adhesive bond over time. Acrylic paint is the better choice for areas that will be covered in stones.

There's no right or wrong way to complete a Glass House canvas. Our designs are meant to inspire creativity, not restrict it — so if a section is printed light blue, that doesn't mean you're locked into a light blue stone. Feel free to swap in a dark blue, a totally different color, or whatever feels right to you as you go.

Some spaces on the canvas are trickier to navigate than others, and that's intentional — they're there to help you grow as an artist, not to intimidate you. Our advice: dry fit before you commit. Lay your stones in place without gluing first, so you can see how they'll look and find the best way to fill the space before making it permanent. There's no need to rush or feel anxious about getting it "right" on the first try.

And remember, not every space needs 100% rhinestone coverage. Leave areas open, blend colors, follow the guide loosely or closely — however you want to approach it, the canvas is yours to make your own.
